A folding bike that rides exceptionally, and looks cool, not dorky! *** the bike folds in half and the double braided down tube cable is repurposed to tie the bike to a pole, tree, etc., to prevent theft!  Very cool!   *** A ccording to Biomega designer Jens Martin Skibsted , “ The main idea was to get the folding function in the mix & still having a cool & simple object. Most folding bikes are kind of dorky. The inspiration to counter balance that came from BMX & Downhill bikes & American bad boy pop culture. “ *** Unlike most folding bikes that have 20", 16", or even 12" tires... this bike has 24" tires, making the ride smooth and safer from most potholes!  You will not be doing pothole flips, the way a smaller tire will. The tires are wider and have a greater foot print to the road. (approx 18% more road contact than a 16" wheel).  The rims are a double hull design, making the wheel strong enough to take rough roads. The brakes are dual discs  ....  they will stop you in wet conditions, unlike cantilever bicycle brakes!  The smart built in locking system, works flawless. Beautiful and complete ! These bikes are so well designed and beautiful, that they are part of the collection in many art and design museums!  This one is unique in its paint... two tone paint and unique tires, black mat finish on the bars, crank, seat post, rims, etc. It is stunning!!!
