Denver Online Auctions – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to the Denver Online Auctions platform.

Denver Online Auctions is a marketplace connecting independent Colorado estate sale companies with bidders. Each estate sale company operates independently and may have additional auction-specific terms, including buyer's premium, payment methods, pickup instructions, shipping policies, and special conditions.

Always read the individual auction description before placing a bid.

By registering and bidding, you agree to these platform terms as well as any additional terms posted by the individual seller.


1. Registration Requirements

To participate in auctions, bidders must create an account using accurate and complete registration information, including a valid credit card for bidder verification.

By registering and placing a bid, you agree to these Denver Online Auctions Terms & Conditions as well as any additional terms posted by the individual estate sale company conducting the auction.

Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension or removal of bidding privileges.


2. Payment Processing

Denver Online Auctions uses Stripe for secure payment processing.

Your payment information is encrypted and processed securely. Denver Online Auctions does not store your complete credit card information.


3. All Items Sold As-Is

Estate sale items are typically pre-owned and may show normal wear consistent with age and use.

• All items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS.

• Item descriptions and photographs are provided by the individual estate sale company.

• Bidders are encouraged to review all photos, read descriptions carefully, and ask questions before bidding.

• The absence of a noted flaw does not guarantee an item is free from defects.

All sales are final. No refunds, returns, exchanges, or price adjustments will be made unless required by law.


4. Pick-Up Rules & Late Pick-Up Policy

Each auction has a designated pickup date, time, and location determined by the individual estate sale company.

Winning bidders are responsible for:

• Arriving during the scheduled pickup window

• Bringing adequate help, tools, and packing materials

• Removing purchases without damaging the property

If you cannot attend pickup, contact the estate sale company before the pickup window closes to request alternate arrangements.

Items not picked up without prior approval may be considered abandoned and may be forfeited without refund.


5. Non-Payment Policy

Placing a winning bid creates a legally binding purchase agreement.

Failure to complete your purchase may result in:

• Cancellation of bidding privileges

• Charges permitted under the auction terms

• Additional collection or legal action when appropriate

Please bid responsibly.


6. Bidder Eligibility & Acknowledgments

• You must be at least 18 years old to register and bid.

• Denver Online Auctions may suspend or revoke bidding privileges for violations of these Terms & Conditions.

• Additional bidder requirements may be established by individual estate sale companies.


7. Personal Injury or Property Damage

By attending previews or pickups, you accept responsibility for your own safety.

Denver Online Auctions and the individual estate sale companies are not responsible for accidents, injuries, theft, or property damage occurring during preview or pickup events, except as required by law.


8. Before You Leave Pickup

.Please inspect your purchases before leaving the property.

Once items have been removed from the pickup location, no adjustments, exchanges, or claims will be accepted.


9. Shipping for Out-of-State Bidders

Shipping availability varies by auction and by seller.

• Not all items are shippable.

• Always verify shipping availability before bidding.

• If shipping is offered, follow the instructions provided by the individual estate sale company.

Unless shipping arrangements have been confirmed, sellers may assume you will pick up your purchases.


10. Special Pickup Instructions

Winning bidders are responsible for bringing the assistance, equipment, and packing materials necessary to remove their purchases.

Estate sale companies are generally not responsible for moving, loading, or packing items unless specifically stated in the auction terms.

Buyers are responsible for any damage caused during item removal.


11. Final Sale Terms

All sales are final.

No refunds, returns, credits, or exchanges will be provided unless required by law.

By registering and placing a bid on Denver Online Auctions, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional terms posted by the individual estate sale company conducting the auction.

Denver Online Auctions collects only the information necessary to operate the platform, process transactions, and communicate with bidders.

Your information may be used to:

• Manage your account

• Process auction purchases and payments

• Send auction-related notifications and customer support communications

Payment information is processed securely through Stripe. Denver Online Auctions does not store your complete credit card information.

We do not sell your personal information and take reasonable steps to protect your privacy.
