Lot #66 - Collection of Black Memorabilia and Americana
- 1940s Kirchhof tin litho noisemaker. Metal strip does slip out of the cog but easy to slot back in with your finger. Only works in one direction.
- Antique carved Japanese Kobe Doll dice shaker. Missing one eye and hands. Remaining eye pops in and out (is meant to!)
- Rare Darkie Toothpaste Advertising, created in Taiwan in around the 1930s-50s, and was made for an Asian audience. Based on "blackface" as a parody of American minstrel performer Al Jolson, this has a racist history.
- Black girl with umbrella "Be of Good Cheer" wall hanging, product of S.S. & Church Supplies.
- Mounted baby portrait 8" x 6"
Shipping cost $10
