Description:

This lot includes three decorative lighting pieces: one vintage-style clear pressed glass oil lamp with a brass-like scalloped burner collar, wick adjuster rod, cotton wick, and a flared clear glass chimney shade with etched dot detailing, standing approximately 18 inches tall overall; and two matching silver-tone metal hurricane candle holders, each featuring ornate acanthus leaf and scroll relief casting on the base with small bun feet, fitted with cylindrical clear glass chimney tubes and cream-colored pillar candles included. The oil lamp features a faceted octagonal font reservoir sitting atop a tiered circular glass base, a classic design reminiscent of late 19th to early 20th century kerosene parlor lamps popular throughout the American frontier and Colorado homestead era. The brass-like burner hardware shows the characteristic flat-wick style consistent with period oil lamp design, and the glass chimney displays light etched dot pattern decoration. The two hurricane candle holders are a matched pair with heavily embossed silver-tone cast metal bases in a neoclassical style, likely from the 1980s-2000s decorative home accessory market. Condition is overall Good to Very Good; the oil lamp glass is intact with no visible chips or cracks, the brass-like burner shows light tarnish and age patina, and the wick is present but aged; the hurricane holders show minor surface wear to the silver-tone finish with no damage to the glass cylinders; candles show minimal use.
