Description:

This is a substantial lot of approximately 11 pieces of cut and pressed glass crystal tableware, all included as shown. The collection features two glass decanters with stoppers — one tall ringed-neck style with a faceted stopper and one shorter ship's decanter style with a ball stopper, both displaying diamond and fan cut patterns throughout. A standout piece is the amethyst/lavender pressed glass pitcher with an ornate pinwheel, fan, and hobstar pattern with a twisted rope handle, likely early American pressed glass from the late 1800s to early 1900s that has developed its purple hue from sun exposure to manganese dioxide content in the glass. Additional pieces include a footed compote, two small handled baskets or sugar bowls with scalloped rims, a cylindrical tumbler or vase, a divided relish or celery dish, a small footed salt or individual dish, a miniature shot glass or toothpick holder, and a large round pressed glass plate approximately 10-11 inches in diameter featuring a striking starburst and hobstar geometric pattern. Makers are not identifiable from photos and no visible marks were noted; pieces appear to be a mix of American Brilliant Period-style cut glass and pressed glass from various makers spanning roughly 1890s–1950s. Condition is overall Good to Very Good with expected light surface wear, minor scratches consistent with age and use; no chips or cracks are visible in the photos though buyers should inspect all pieces upon receipt as this is a large mixed lot.
