This charming condiment set consists of a smoked gray glass sugar bowl or jam jar paired with a heavily embossed silver-plate domed lid featuring elaborate repousse scrollwork, floral motifs, and a decorative pineapple or floral finial on top. The lid features a notched cutout on one side to accommodate a serving spoon, a classic design element seen on Victorian-revival and mid-century silver-plate tableware produced throughout the 1950s-1970s. The cylindrical smoked glass body measures approximately 3 inches in diameter and 3 inches tall, with the ornate domed lid adding another 2 inches in height. Included is a silver-plate serving spoon with a mother-of-pearl or shell bowl and an engraved floral handle, still in its original plastic sleeve, suggesting it may be new old stock or lightly used. The repousse lid construction is consistent with silver-plate hollowware produced by various European and American manufacturers during the mid-20th century, often sold as gift sets for sugar, jam, or condiment service. Condition is rated Good to Very Good overall: the silver-plate lid shows moderate tarnishing and oxidation consistent with age, the smoked glass body appears intact with no visible chips or cracks, and the spoon remains in excellent condition in its original packaging. A functional and decorative addition to any vintage table setting collection.
