Description:

This substantial lot of 50+ vinyl LP records spans multiple genres and decades, offering an exciting treasure hunt for collectors and music enthusiasts alike. Visually identifiable titles include Electric Light Orchestra 'A New World Record' (United Artists, 1976), a Music Treasures of the World Tchaikovsky 'Swan Lake' LP (vintage blue label pressing), Verdi's 'Aida' RCA Victor Living Stereo box set, a Mozart opera featuring Herbert von Karajan on Deutsche Grammophon, Renee Fleming's 'Thais' classical recording, Willie Nelson 'Willie and Family Live' (Columbia), and Bing Crosby 'I Wish You a Merry Christmas' (Warner Bros. WS 1484), among dozens more spanning rock, country, classical, and holiday genres. The records are stored in a handmade dovetail-jointed pine wooden crate approximately 14x14x10 inches, which itself has collector appeal as a display or storage piece. The collection appears to originate from a single Colorado estate, suggesting a curated personal library assembled over several decades from the 1950s through the 1980s. Condition overall is Good to Very Good for the collection as a whole — jacket spines show typical shelf wear, splitting, and edge wear consistent with decades of use; the Tchaikovsky record shows surface marks and is stored in a worn poly sleeve; individual record play condition varies and buyers should anticipate a mix of grades from Fair to Very Good. The wooden crate shows light scuffs and minor wear but remains structurally sound. This lot is ideal for Denver-area record collectors, vintage music dealers, or anyone looking to build or expand a vinyl library across multiple genres at a single bid.
