Description:

Incredible 22" Antique Doll- Bisque Bahr & Proschild German Head (224), SFBJ Period Body w/ Reuge Music box in Torso- Wooden Articulated Joints- Original Clothing

This lovely lady was made between 1900 & 1915 and has a Porcelain Bisque Socket Head by Bahr & Proschild in Germany. She is marked on the back of her head with her model number (224) and her mold size (12) she has pierced ears and is wearing her original wig.

Her body/torso is metal, SFBJ period body it appears to have repainted at some point and originally the torso would have had a phonograph type mechanism. At some point it was replaced with her current Luxury Reuge Music Box. The music box is made in Switzerland and still plays "It's a small world". Her beautifully articulated limbs are made from painted wood and some type of composite material. Her Clothing is handmade and appears to be original with the time period and age.

**She is in good condition considering her age but please take care to examine each photo as they are part of the description***
