Lot #CG 59- Antique 1800s Santa Claus Doll Figurine 14" Tall w/ "Japan" Tag on Bottom of Foot 

We could not find a lot on this happy guy, the construction and materials date this at least 100 years old.  Seems to be stuffed with some sort of shredded paper or hay.  His face is some sort of composite we could not identify, there is a crack on his right cheek.  Hat is faded, otherwise has held up pretty well!  He stands on his own but one leg is a bit shorter, so he leans.
