Original gambling in baseball themed artwork from the May 10^th, 1922 issue of the Denver Post. Signed by the artist A.W. Steele and presented by Steele to Frank. Albert Wilbur Steele (1862–1925) was a cartoonist with the Rocky Mountain News from 1890 to 1897, and joined the Denver Post in 1897. The first American cartoonist to appear daily in a newspaper, Steele drew front-page cartoons that appeared above the fold in The Denver Post for nearly thirty years. Framed and matted approximately 22” x 22” with light water damage, see photos.  Contains the Editor's "OK" for this art to be published in the paper.
