Description:

Lot # 153 - Set of Three Original Art For Newspaper Pieces By J. Campbell Cory Cartoonist 1918-1921 Father Time.  One Shows a Native American Cartoon from 1920 and measures 11" x 14".  Cows cartoon from 1921 measures 12" x 12".  Father Time from 1918 measures 11.5" x 12".  Decent condition with some flaws, see photos.  

A famous cartoonist, from NYC to Chicago to Denver, his final years were as a cartoonist for the Denver Times and the Rocky Mountain News.   He established the Denver Academy of Applied Art with Perce Pearce. Cory died in Denver November 17, 1925, aged 58.
