This lot presents two distinct antique copper pieces: a substantial copper and brass tea kettle and a separate embossed copper cat figural mold or paperweight. The tea kettle features a wide, low-slung globular body constructed of copper with a warm golden-brass patina, a gracefully curved brass swan-neck spout, and a tall arched brass bail handle wrapped in woven rattan/wicker for heat insulation — a hallmark of late Victorian and Edwardian-era British and European kettle craftsmanship, circa 1890s–1920s. The domed lid is fitted with a turned wooden finial knob and seats within a stepped collar on the kettle body; brass hinge brackets rivet the handle arms to the body sides. Estimated dimensions of the kettle are approximately 10 inches tall to top of handle arc and 9–10 inches in diameter at the widest point of the body. The second piece is a solid copper embossed disc approximately 3.5 inches in diameter depicting a stylized sleeping or resting cat face surrounded by decorative leaf motifs in high relief — consistent with Art Nouveau decorative copper work of the early 20th century and possibly used as a jelly or food mold, trivet, or decorative wall piece. The cat mold shows crisp relief detail with darkened recesses that accentuate the design beautifully. Condition is Good to Very Good overall: the kettle displays honest age-related patina with areas of oxidation shifting from warm copper tones to golden brass, light surface scratching across the body, some darkening and minor tarnish to the brass handle arms and spout, and the wicker handle wrap shows age-related drying and cracking consistent with 100+ years of use but remains intact and functional; the wooden lid finial is solid with no cracks noted. The copper cat mold is in Good condition with expected patina, minor surface scratches, and slight darkening in the recessed areas that enhances its visual appeal. No major dents, holes, or structural damage observed on either piece. A charming and displayable pair well-suited for farmhouse, Victorian, or cottage-style Colorado mountain home décor collectors.
