This is a Buffalo Tool Company 6-inch electric bench grinder, model number ULHG6A, manufactured in 1989 (serial date code 89 10 CH) by Buffalo Tool Company of St. Louis, Missouri. The unit features ball bearing construction with a 1/4 HP motor running at 3450 RPM, rated at 110 volts, 4 amps, single phase, 60 Hz, with a 1/2-inch arbor diameter and 6-inch wheel diameter — suitable for wheels rated up to 3600 RPM. Buffalo Tool Company was a well-known budget-to-mid-range power tool brand that supplied hobbyists, home workshops, and light trade users throughout the latter half of the 20th century; this unit carries a UL listing (E102431) indicating it met safety standards of the era. The grinder features a cast iron base with mounting holes for bench securing, dual adjustable metal wheel guards with tool rests on both sides, a red rocker ON/OFF switch mounted on the base, and the original power cord. Condition is rated Good — the unit shows honest wear consistent with shop use including surface scratches and scuffs to the motor housing, paint loss in several areas, grime accumulation on the base and guards, and some staining to the data label; the grinding wheels appear worn but present, the switch and guards are intact, and the power cord shows no visible damage. Functionality has not been tested by the auction house and is sold as-is; buyers are encouraged to inspect in person at our Denver, Colorado facility prior to bidding.
