This listing features a matched pair of large antique cast iron and steel spoke farm implement wheels, each measuring approximately 60 inches (5 feet) in diameter as confirmed by the tape measure visible in the photos. These substantial wheels are consistent with early 20th century agricultural equipment, likely originating from a horse-drawn or early tractor-era farm implement such as a grain drill, hay rake, cultivator, or similar field equipment commonly used across Colorado and the Great Plains farming regions from approximately 1900–1940. Each wheel features a heavy-gauge steel outer rim, approximately 20–24 radiating round steel spokes, and a cast iron hub center with a decorative toothed/gear-style flange — a hallmark of quality agricultural manufacturing from this era, with makers such as John Deere, International Harvester, and various regional implement companies producing similar designs. The hubs retain their original cast iron construction with visible bolt holes and axle openings, and traces of original green paint can be seen on portions of the rim and spokes, suggesting a John Deere or similar implement origin. These oversized antique wheels are highly sought after in Colorado and the Mountain West for rustic farmhouse décor, garden art, ranch entryway displays, and Western-themed landscaping. Condition is consistent with decades of outdoor agricultural use and storage: overall grade is Good/Fair, displaying heavy surface rust and oxidation throughout, some pitting to the iron hub faces, minor bending to a small number of spokes, and remnants of faded green paint on portions of the rims. Structurally the wheels appear intact with no missing spokes observed and the rims appear round without major warping — impressive given their age and size. These are heavy, substantial pieces requiring appropriate transport; buyer should plan for two-person pickup and a truck or trailer.
