This is an antique flame mahogany dresser dating to the mid-19th century, likely around the Empire or Classical Revival period. The piece features a striking flame mahogany veneer with carved details around the drawer fronts and original turned wooden knobs. It has four full drawers plus a smaller upper tier of three drawers, offering substantial storage. The craftsmanship shows hand-cut dovetail joinery, which confirms its age and authenticity. Measuring approximately 41" wide by 21" deep by 42" tall, this dresser is a fine example of early American furniture with elegant lines and bold, rich wood grain.
Wear seen consistent with age, especially on the higher surface.
