large antique Empire-style mahogany sideboard/credenza, dating to the mid-19th century (likely 1830–1850). It features rich burled mahogany veneers, strong classical lines, and scroll-form legs typical of American Empire design. The piece has three upper drawers, lower cabinet doors (one with a rounded center), and original working locks with an ornate key. The backboard adds height and presence, while the deep compartments provide significant storage.
It shows signs of age and use, including veneer wear, cracks, and repairs (visible in photos), but overall it retains an impressive presentation and historical charm.
