This lot includes three handwoven natural fiber baskets of varying styles, sizes, and weaving techniques, making an excellent collection for home décor, storage, or folk art enthusiasts. The largest basket is a square-to-rectangular open-top wicker or rattan storage basket featuring a distinctive open-lattice twill weave with a warm honey-golden tone, standing approximately 12-14 inches tall with a wide open mouth — ideal as a waste bin, plant holder, or magazine storage. The center basket is a coiled seagrass or sweetgrass open-top bin with a bold Southwestern-style geometric pattern in red, green, and natural tan, reminiscent of Native American or Mexican folk art traditions, standing approximately 10-12 inches tall with a tapered form. The third and smallest basket is a low-profile, wide-mouthed vessel with a herringbone or chevron flat-reed weave in pale natural straw tones, approximately 6-8 inches tall, with a bulbous mid-body and flared rim typical of traditional storage or gathering baskets. All three represent hand-craft traditions popular throughout the American Southwest and are consistent with mid-to-late 20th century folk art production. Condition is overall Good to Very Good — the large square basket shows some minor fraying at the rim and slight darkening of the weave at the base corners; the geometric coiled basket is structurally sound with vibrant color retention; the small herringbone basket shows light soiling and minor flattening to the weave on one side consistent with age and use. No major breaks, unraveling, or structural failures noted on any of the three pieces.
