This is an impressive set of genuine Texas Longhorn steer horns mounted on a rustic wood display plank, ideal for Western, ranch, or lodge-style décor popular throughout Colorado and the broader Rocky Mountain region. The horns measure an estimated 48 inches tip-to-tip spread, showcasing the dramatic sweeping curve characteristic of authentic Longhorn cattle. Each horn displays a rich natural coloration with a stunning gradient transitioning from creamy ivory and silver-gray at the base to deep chocolate brown and near-black at the pointed tips, with a polished, lustrous surface that highlights the natural keratin striations. The center mounting assembly features a leather-wrapped or cowhide-covered cylindrical connector that secures both horns to a solid wood display board, which has been decoratively fire-branded or scorched in a rustic pattern, adding to the Western aesthetic. Two metal eye-hook hardware pieces are affixed to the back of the wood plank for easy wall hanging. A small yellow label or tag is visible on the front of the mounting connector, possibly indicating a manufacturer, taxidermist, or ranch of origin. Condition is rated Very Good overall; the horns themselves are solid and intact with no cracks or splits, showing natural surface striations and minor scuffs consistent with age and handling; the wood mounting board shows moderate fire-branding darkening and minor surface wear; the leather/hide wrap on the connector shows light creasing and patina. A bold statement piece for any Colorado ranch home, cabin, steakhouse, or Western-themed interior.
