Description:

This is a solid wood octagonal poker table top designed to seat up to 8 players, estimated at approximately 48 inches across at its widest point. The top features a warm medium-brown hardwood construction — likely oak or walnut veneer over a solid wood core — with a beautifully routed octagonal border that includes individual player stations, each equipped with two circular cup/drink holders and a recessed chip tray area routed directly into the wood. The green felt playing surface is centered in an octagonal shape, surrounded by the wooden rail, providing the classic casino-style layout that home game enthusiasts seek. This style of tabletop was popular from the 1970s through the 1990s as home poker rooms became a staple of American entertaining culture, and quality versions like this with routed wood chip trays rather than plastic inserts represent the higher end of the home game market. The wood frame and rail show good overall construction with clean routing work and a smooth lacquer finish that retains most of its sheen. Condition is rated Good overall: the wooden frame and cup holders are structurally sound with only minor surface scuffs and light wear consistent with use; however, the green felt playing surface has a notable area of peeling and felt loss at one corner/edge approximately 3-4 inches in diameter where the felt has separated from the substrate, exposing the yellow foam or board beneath — this is the primary flaw and the felt will likely need to be replaced for serious play. The wood itself shows no cracks, warping, or broken sections. Note: this appears to be a tabletop only; no legs or base are included, making it ideal for placement over an existing table.
