Description:

An impressive collection of vintage fishing rods and accessories spanning several decades, ideal for the Colorado angler, collector, or fly fishing enthusiast targeting the state's renowned trout streams and mountain lakes. The lot includes a Garcia Conolon spinning rod with the classic burgundy blank and cork grip — Garcia's Conolon fiberglass rods were among the most respected production rods of the 1960s-70s and remain highly collectible today. Also present is an Eagle Graphite rod featuring the distinctive black blank with decorative cork and wood accent grip wraps, representing the early graphite rod era of the late 1970s-early 1980s. Additional rods include what appears to be a vintage fiberglass fly rod with cork grip and aluminum reel seat stored in a blue cloth bag, multiple bamboo-toned and dark graphite multi-piece rods, a yellow fiberglass spinning rod, and a complete rod-and-reel combo featuring a Zebco 33 'Casting Kids' Baitcaster spin-cast reel mounted on a black rod. Storage accessories include a green hard plastic rod tube (approximately 36 inches), a brown hard tube, and a canvas/cloth rod bag with yellow trim. Condition is overall Good to Very Good for the collection — individual rods show expected use wear including light scratches to blanks, cork grip compression and soiling, minor guide wear, and surface oxidation to metal components; the Zebco 33 reel shows cosmetic wear but appears mechanically intact; rod tubes show scuffs and scratches. Completeness of multi-piece rods is unverified and buyers should inspect sections carefully. A fantastic grab-bag lot for Colorado fly fishing, trout fishing, or vintage tackle collectors.
