Description:

This exceptional lot includes 25 or more handcrafted Christmas ornaments representing a remarkable collection of artisan-quality holiday decorations spanning multiple styles and techniques. The collection features a diverse array of ornament types including large velvet balls adorned with hand-applied red sequin and bead embroidery in floral and scroll patterns, satin-wrapped balls in jewel tones of emerald green, ruby red, gold, and teal embellished with seed beads, rhinestones, and metallic trims, as well as two stunning beaded snowflake/starburst tree toppers or decorative picks crafted with faux pearl drops and faceted crystal beads. Sizes range from approximately 2 inches to an impressive 5-6 inch diameter statement ball, with the largest being a cream velvet sphere featuring intricate red sequin folk-art style embroidery. Many of the ornaments display the hallmarks of Indian export craft work, a style popularized in the 1970s-1990s and highly collectible today, characterized by push-pin bead application, ribbon trim, and richly colored satin bases. The lot also includes several glitter-encrusted balls in deep green and burgundy, fabric-wrapped eggs, and mixed-media pieces combining velvet, satin, lace trim, and jewel embellishments. Condition is overall Very Good to Excellent — the majority appear well-preserved and many are still wrapped in their original tissue and plastic wrap; some show minor compression or light wear to beading consistent with storage, and a few of the older pieces display slight fading or loosened trim, but no major damage is noted across the collection. This is an outstanding opportunity for holiday decorators, collectors, or resellers seeking a large ready-to-display assortment of premium handcrafted ornaments.
