This substantial collection of approximately 15 silver-plated serving pieces represents a diverse assemblage of American and English electroplated hollowware spanning roughly the 1920s through 1960s, ideal for formal entertaining, prop styling, or resale. The centerpiece of the lot is an ornate footed chafing dish with a domed lid featuring a decorative ring handle and elaborate cabriole legs with scrollwork feet, consistent with Victorian Revival or Edwardian-era styling. Also included are two large round pierced-border serving trays (approximately 12-14 inches diameter) with reticulated geometric lattice borders and gadroon rope-twist rims, a pedestal compote with beaded rim border showing heavy tarnish to the base, a classic gravy boat with gilded interior wash, two to three Paul Revere-style footed serving bowls, a small pear-shaped creamer or bud vase, a footed relish or candy dish, a shell-form footed dish, and several additional small bowls and saucers. Construction throughout is electroplated silver over a base metal (EPNS or EPBM), typical of mid-century American manufacturers such as Wm. Rogers, International Silver, or similar producers, though specific maker's marks are not fully legible in the photographs. Condition is rated Good overall for a used lot: the chafing dish retains strong silver luster with minor tarnish to the legs and base; the pierced trays show moderate tarnish and surface oxidation to the centers with some copper blush visible on the larger tray; the compote base exhibits significant dark tarnish; the gravy boat interior shows gold wash with light wear; the smaller bowls and serving pieces range from bright and reflective to lightly tarnished. No major dents, cracks, or structural damage are apparent, though some pieces show light scratching consistent with decades of use and storage. This lot offers excellent value for estate resellers, vintage home decorators, holiday table styling, or collectors building a silver plate serving collection in the Denver Colorado Front Range area.
