Description:

This is a substantial and cohesive white porcelain dinnerware service featuring a classic scalloped edge profile with rich gold trim throughout, consistent with European fine china production from the mid-20th century, likely of German, Austrian, or Czechoslovakian origin — makers such as Haviland, Rosenthal, or similar continental manufacturers produced nearly identical services during the 1940s–1960s. The set includes an impressive array of pieces: multiple dinner plates (approximately 10-inch diameter), salad/luncheon plates (approximately 8-inch), soup bowls, small berry/dessert bowls, teacups with gold loop handles, saucers, a large oval serving platter (approximately 14 inches), a medium oval serving platter, an oval vegetable/serving bowl, a covered round casserole/vegetable dish with bold gold handles and finial, a gravy boat with attached underplate, and additional serving components — totaling approximately 35–40 pieces. The design is elegantly simple: bright white vitreous porcelain body with a fluid, undulating scalloped rim highlighted by a continuous applied gold band, giving the service a formal yet timeless Rococo-influenced aesthetic well-suited for holiday entertaining and formal dining. Maker's marks are not visible in the photographs and should be verified on the reverse of individual pieces at pickup, which may help confirm the specific manufacturer and pattern name. Condition is overall Very Good; the gold trim shows minor wear and light rubbing consistent with age and use on some pieces, the porcelain surfaces appear free of major chips or cracks visible in the photos, though buyers should inspect individual pieces carefully as minor imperfections may be present in a set of this size. This is an excellent opportunity for Colorado collectors, estate decorators, or formal dining enthusiasts seeking a complete and usable vintage service.
