This elegant Chinese blue and white porcelain vase features a graceful elongated bottle form with a slender neck flaring to a trumpet mouth, estimated to stand approximately 10-11 inches tall. The body is decorated in cobalt blue underglaze with a lively figural scene depicting playful boys (a classic 'Hundred Boys' or 'Playing Boys' motif) amid clouds, foliage, and a wicker basket, a traditional auspicious subject symbolizing prosperity and good fortune. The neck is adorned with dotted teardrop motifs and the rim carries a scalloped blue border, while the base features a lotus petal band in blue. The foot rim is unglazed and the base bears a blue underglaze Chinese seal mark in a rectangular cartouche, consistent with 20th-century Chinese export or decorative porcelain production, likely from Jingdezhen, the historic porcelain capital of China. The vase retains its original red silk-covered presentation gift box with a gold Chinese character label, adding collectible and display value. Condition is Very Good overall; the porcelain shows no visible chips or cracks, glaze is bright and intact, with minor light surface marks consistent with careful storage; a small dark pinpoint dot is noted near the foot rim on the base. The gift box shows light wear and some fraying to the ribbon ties but remains structurally sound and presentable.
