This violin is attributed to François Richard, a French luthier (violin maker) active in Paris primarily during the 19th century. This well loved vintage violin features some modifications from its original state, but has a fantastic classical look. It was taken Vons who evaluated and although they could not confirm authenticity they did agree it is a 19th French violin. It does need work. Age of bow unknown. No case.
