Bidding Terms & Conditions
Hi! Welcome to Googie Down Estate Liquidators and Appraisal Services. Just a few things we need to disclose, before you sign-up to bid. By placing a bid(s), you agree to all of the following bidding terms. Additionally, each of our auctions may have different terms, so be sure to read each auction's information before bidding.

- Non-Payment/No Show/Late Pick-Up Policy: Winning bidders who fail to pay, do not show up for pick-up, or arrive late with no communication WILL be banned from bidding. No exceptions.
- Pick-up information: Local pick-up only, unless otherwise stated for a specific auction. Pick-up dates and times are not negotiable. Don't bid, if you can't accommodate published pick-up schedules. Feel free to send someone, on your behalf, if you can't physically be at pick-up but we will need your approval and the person will need a copy of your paid invoice.
- Payments: Online invoice payments only. Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe is a PCI DSS Level 1 Certified Service Provider, the highest level of payment security certification. DOA nor Googie Down has access to or store your credit card information. Remember, if you don't pay, you get banned from bidding. When you bid, you enter into an agreement with DOA and Googie Down that you will pay for your items.
- Cash payments: We DO NOT accept cash or give a cash discount.
- Refunds: Items are sold "as is" with no refunds. If you have an issue with an item(s), you must address it onsite during pick-up before removing your item(s). Before bidding, ask all questions and review all images! We are always available to answer questions. Text or call us at 303.906.5133 or 303.506.7268.
- Packing and moving: We DO NOT pre-box, pack or help move. You box, you pack, you move. Bring your own boxes, packing materials and tools to disassemble. If you show up unprepared and without help to move large heavy items safely, we may refuse you access to the property and you will not receive a refund. Items that required additional moving help will be flagged as "Large Item Alert".
- Shipping: We do not ship, unless specifically noted for an auction. DO NOT bid if you can't pick-up locally.
- Item conditions: Items are untested. Working conditions are unknown. Items are not checked for completeness. Items may need cleaned, may have minor surface wear, marks, breaks or scratches. If an items is brand new, that will be noted. If an item has visible, known damage or repairs, that will be noted. Otherwise, assume all items are in used condition with wear due to age and use and are sold "as is".
- Buyer's premium (platform service fee) and sales tax: The BP ranges from 15% to 18%. It is a buyer's fee assessed to cover the costs charged by Denver Online Auctions to host online auctions. Each of our auctions will explicitly show the buyer's premium on the landing page, it will also be on your invoice and noted in email invoice reminders. BP is a taxable service fee in Colorado and sales tax is not negotiable, unless specific items are exempt from sales tax.

- Lastly, but just as important: Googie Down reserves the right to refuse buyer access or remove a buyer from a property at anytime. No disruptive, abusive, distracting and harmful behaviors allowed - just be nice! No weapons of any kind are allowed onsite!

We collect only the information needed to run our auctions and communicate with you. This may include your name, contact information, and payment details.
We do not sell, share, or give your personal information to anyone — ever.

Payment information is processed securely by trusted payment providers and is never stored or used by Denver Online Auctions for any other purpose.
