Description:

Each measures 11" x 9".  These are old and brittle if handled.  The glass corner is chipped on one, ok if left alone.

These three framed prints are beautifully hand-colored 19th-century lithographs, most likely of Swiss alpine landscapes and village life, featuring scenes of mountainous regions like the Jungfrau and Monte Rosa. They are labeled in French and printed in Zurich by R. Dikenmann (sometimes spelled Dikenmann or Dikenman), a known Swiss publisher active in the mid-1800s. Each print includes artist and engraver credits—drawings by G. Lory and engravings by H. Siegfried—both reputable names in Swiss topographical illustration. The visible captions identify locations such as “Vue de la montagne de l’Eiger, Mönch et de la Jungfrau,” “Maison de paysan près d’Unterseen,” and “Visp et le Mont-Rosa en Valais.” The detail, coloration, and historical documentation of these prints make them desirable for collectors of antique travel and alpine prints, particularly those with interest in Swiss scenery or early European tourism.
