Description:

This lot features a Festool ATF 55 E plunge-cut circular track saw, a premium German-engineered power tool manufactured by Festool GmbH, a company renowned among professional woodworkers, cabinetmakers, and finish carpenters worldwide. The ATF 55 E is a 160mm (6-1/4 inch) plunge-cut saw designed for use with Festool's FS guide rail system, delivering splinter-free, precision cuts in wood, laminate, aluminum, and composite materials — the blade speed chart on the housing confirms compatibility with wood (K), ferrous metals (Fe), and aluminum (Al) at various speed settings via the MMC electronics module. The body features the signature Festool silver die-cast aluminum base plate and black/green ergonomic handle assembly with variable speed dial and the distinctive green trigger lock, all consistent with this earlier ATF-series model. Physical condition is Fair to Good — the tool shows heavy shop use including significant scuffing and scratches to the aluminum housing and base plate, grime and sawdust accumulation throughout, a handwritten marker notation ('REG. THREAD') on the base, and what appears to be duct tape repair near the power cord entry point, which should be inspected carefully before use. The power cord shows wear and darkening near the tool body, and the blade guard area shows rust-colored residue and surface oxidation. The green adjustment knobs and depth stop components appear intact and functional. No guide rail, blade, or carrying case is included. Buyers are encouraged to inspect in person; this saw is sold as-is and should be tested and serviced by a qualified technician before use. Festool tools retain strong resale and parts value in the Colorado contractor and fine woodworking community.
