This is a set of three hand-carved wood santos bulto figures in the Hispanic folk art tradition, painted in orange-red, green, and gold tones depicting robed religious figures — the tallest holding a book, the middle figure displaying a prominent cross, and the smallest also holding a book. The figures vary in height with the tallest being the largest of the three, all featuring hand-painted facial details with expressive open mouths and dark hair. Condition shows significant age-related wear throughout including paint loss, cracking, wood checking, and surface abrasion consistent with old use; the largest figure shows notable wood checking on the lower body. All three figures are present and display the characteristically flat, stylized carving typical of New Mexican or Latin American santero tradition.
