Hand-carved wooden blanket chest from Guatemala crafted from solid pine. The front panel features a traditional folk art carving with two stylized horses facing a central circular motif, surrounded by geometric border carving typical of Guatemalan artisan furniture.
The chest has a gently arched lid with a turned wood pull, hand-cut joinery, and turned feet. The interior is simple pine planking with visible hand-worked construction, consistent with traditional Central American craftsmanship.
