We put these together because the rugs are great for dogs to sleep on, and the large bin with a hinged opening is great for dog food storage!
However, that is just a suggestion! The rugs appear to be washable and measure 73" x 42" (larger) and 40" x 25" for the smaller.
Rugs need some shaking out and a wash, but no stains or damage, just dust from storage.
