Original Swedish-American Telephone Company wall telephone, manufactured in Chicago, circa late 1800s–early 1900s. This handsome oak wall phone features its twin nickel-plated bells, original mouthpiece (marked “Swedish-American Telephone Co. Chicago 320664”), side crank ringer, and candlestick-style receiver with cloth cord.
The oak cabinet retains its rich patina, showcasing age and authenticity. The internal crank and bells are present, and the phone displays beautifully whether for a collector, a historical display, or vintage home décor.
A rare find from an independent Chicago telephone maker that competed with Western Electric during the early days of telephony.
