"The Gion Shrine in Snow" by the renowned ukiyo-e artist Utagawa Hiroshige. The original 1834 woodblock print from the series Famous Views of Kyoto depicts elegantly dressed women visiting the famous Kyoto shrine (now called Yasaka Shrine) during a tranquil snowfall. This is an antique print of the original. Ideal for collectors of Asian antique prints, art enthusiasts, and those seeking unique cultural wall decor with historical charm.
12 3/4" wide, 9 5/8" tall. The teal tape around the edges has deteriorated over time. The art, cloth, and glass are in good condition.
