Exceptional American Empire rosewood occasional or bedside table, circa 1825.
Crafted in richly figured rosewood, this refined early 19th century piece features carved dentil molding along the top edge and apron, a hallmark detail of the period. The single drawer retains its wood pull and operates smoothly.
The base showcases graceful Empire-form curved legs joined by a shaped stretcher with decorative cut-out detail, giving the table both architectural presence and sculptural elegance.
The rosewood displays beautiful grain movement and warm, authentic patina developed over nearly two centuries.
