Limited edition embellished print titled “Crossing at the Ford” by renowned Western artist Howard Terpning. This piece depicts Native American riders crossing a river on horseback, one of Terpning’s well-known Western subjects.
This example is hand signed and numbered by the artist and marked 5/450, making it an early number in the edition. The print is also double signed, with Terpning’s signature appearing within the image and again below with the edition number.
The piece appears to be an embellished print, meaning additional paint details were applied to the surface to enhance the texture and give the appearance of an original painting. A brass title plaque on the frame reads “Crossing at the Ford – Howard Terpning.”
Professionally framed in a substantial rustic Western-style frame. Measurements approximately: 35" x 25" overall framed size
