This is a set of four handcrafted ceramic stoneware mugs with a rich, rustic brown glaze and unique maker's marks. Each mug is approximately 4 inches tall with sturdy handles and a speckled earthy finish typical of vintage artisanal pottery, likely mid-20th century. The set includes a rectangular drip tray glazed in a complementary reddish-brown and a metal tea strainer spoon plus earthtone dish towel. The mugs show slight variations in color and texture, with unglazed bases revealing the natural pottery clay. These functional mugs are ideal for coffee or tea and exemplify vintage rustic ceramic craftsmanship.
The mugs bear an impressed maker's stamp featuring a stylized AG (or A over G) monogram, believed to be the artist's personal mark. While the exact potter has not been positively identified, the workmanship and glazing are consistent with quality studio ceramics from the late 20th century.
