Vintage Stoneware lot- Lidded bean pot, and 4 mugs. Each piece is wheel-thrown stoneware with rich earth-tone glazes in chocolate brown and honey amber, showcasing the organic craftsmanship and rustic aesthetic popular in American studio pottery. The mugs bear an impressed maker's stamp featuring a stylized AG (or A over G) monogram, believed to be the artist's personal mark. While the exact potter has not been positively identified, the workmanship and glazing are consistent with quality studio ceramics from the late 20th century.
*The pot measures approximately 7 inches in height including the lid, while each mug is about 3.5 to 4 inches tall. The mugs have a round base with embossed markings near the bottom and display a blend of darker brown and mustard yellow glaze with drip detailing. The bean pot & lid is numbered '2' and shows signs of wear consistent with age.
