Lot # 99 ~ Original 1968 Mourlot Lithograph by Bernard Lorjou For Paris Art Exhibit ~ Printed in 21" x 26". On matte art paper, this appears to be a hand pulled lithograph, two edges are deckled. Very good condition! Has been stored flat.
Bernard Lorjou (1908-1986) was a French painter of Expressionism and a founding member of the anti-abstract art Group "L'homme Témoin". Throughout his entire career, Lorjou used oil and acrylic paints of vibrant colors in his exciting expressionist style to create visual weapons against injustice and violence.
