Description:

This lot features a DeWalt DWD110 3/8-inch (10mm) Variable Speed Reversing corded electric drill paired with a Malco sheet metal shear attachment, making this an exceptionally practical combination for HVAC contractors, roofers, sheet metal workers, and construction professionals throughout Colorado. The DeWalt DWD110 is a Type 1 unit (Serial No. 356016) rated at 120V AC, 50/60 Hz, 8 amps, with a speed range of 0-2500 RPM, manufactured by DeWalt Industrial Tool Co. of Baltimore, MD. The Malco drill-powered shear attachment is a die-cast aluminum and steel unit designed to convert a standard drill into a one-hand-operated sheet metal cutting tool, marked 'Patent Pending' on the body, consistent with earlier production Malco shear models. The shear head features the characteristic Malco beak-style cutting jaw and mounts directly to the drill chuck via a hex shank, with a galvanized steel guide bar/fence included for straight-line cutting. Condition is rated Good to Fair — the DeWalt drill body shows significant job-site wear including paint scuffs, surface grime, and scratches throughout the yellow housing, though the chuck, trigger, and VSR mechanism appear intact and functional; the power cord shows coiling wear but no visible damage to insulation. The Malco shear attachment shows heavy use patina, surface oxidation, and light scratching to the cast body, but the cutting jaws appear present and the mechanism appears complete. Buyers should test functionality prior to bidding as electrical tools are sold as-is; this combination is ideal for Denver-area contractors, HVAC shops, or DIY metal workers seeking an affordable drill-shear setup.
