This lot presents a matched pair of vintage chrome/polished stainless steel pressurized water fire extinguishers, ideal for industrial decor, fire station memorabilia collectors, or prop use. The first unit is an American LaFrance Model PCW Series 2, 2.5-gallon pressurized water extinguisher for Class A fires, manufactured by the legendary American LaFrance company founded in 1834 and headquartered in Elmira, New York — one of the most storied names in American firefighting history. The label retains its original green and white graphics in remarkably legible condition, displaying full operating and maintenance instructions. The second unit is a Badger 'Automatic' Model WP-51, also a 2.5-gallon pressurized water extinguisher, manufactured by Badger-Powhatan, listed by Underwriters Laboratories with a Classification 2A rating. Both cylinders feature polished chrome/stainless steel construction with dome tops, squeeze-lever valve assemblies, and discharge hoses — the LaFrance unit retaining its original reddish-brown rubber hose and the Badger unit its black rubber hose. These extinguishers are highly sought after by vintage fire memorabilia collectors, steampunk enthusiasts, restaurant and bar decorators, and industrial loft designers across Colorado and the Mountain West. Condition is Good overall: both cylinders display surface oxidation, light scratching, and dulling to the chrome consistent with age and storage; the LaFrance label shows minor edge wear but remains largely intact and vibrant; the Badger label shows some darkening and soiling; both valve assemblies appear intact and complete. These units are sold strictly as decorative/display items only and are NOT certified for active firefighting use — buyers should not attempt to pressurize or deploy these extinguishers.
