Description:

This lot consists of three heavy-duty pipe clamp fixtures, with at least two units visibly marked 'Pony' and bearing the model number '5004,' consistent with the well-known Pony/Jorgensen 3/4-inch pipe clamp fixture line manufactured by Adjustable Clamp Company of Chicago. These fixtures are designed to mount onto standard 3/4-inch black iron pipe, which is included with all three units — the pipes appear to be approximately 48-50 inches in length based on photo proportions, making these ideal for large panel glue-ups, cabinet assembly, and furniture construction. The cast iron heads feature the classic T-bar screw handle and fixed jaw design, while the tail stops (foot clamps) are the quick-release style with spring-loaded clutch mechanisms that allow rapid repositioning along the pipe. Pony 5004 fixtures have been a staple in professional and hobbyist woodworking shops for decades, prized for their durability, clamping force, and compatibility with standard plumbing pipe. One fixture head appears to have a black-painted T-handle rather than the standard orange, suggesting it may be from a slightly different production run or has been repainted. Condition is Good overall — the cast iron heads and tail stops show significant use-related wear including paint loss, surface rust on the pipe sections, and grime accumulation consistent with shop use; all three appear mechanically functional with screws that turn and clutch mechanisms that engage, though buyers should inspect and clean prior to use. No cracks or breaks observed in the cast iron components.
