Charming Alice in Wonderland doll dressed in classic blue and white dress with curly blonde hair. Artist is Jane Bradbury. This Alice doll along with her White Rabbit, are a limited edition. Comes with detailed White Rabbit wearing a checkered jacket and holding a pocket watch, as well as a small doll, which from the storyline is most likely known as the Mad Hatter. Perfect for collectors of vintage storybook dolls and memorabilia. The quilt in the background appears to be a handmade piece although a sewing machine would have been used. 
All the pieces in this lot are in excellent condition and are not commonly seen in stores. Alice’s hair is extremely well kept and dolls appear to have zero imperfections. Created by Bradbury, this set is considered rare.  Material from which Bradbury used to create her works typically included a hard vinyl. More durable than porcelain and smooth to the touch, it is still highly recommended to be an adult collectible, and is not suitable as a toy for young children. Alice’s legs are permanently sculpted with a bend at the knee for secure upright posture and display. Exceptional pieces.
