This is a professional-quality pronghorn antelope (Antilocapra americana) shoulder taxidermy mount, presented as a pedestal/floor-standing bust rather than a traditional wall-hung mount. The pronghorn is North America's fastest land mammal and one of the most iconic big game species of the American West, highly sought after by Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana hunters and Western decor collectors alike. The mount displays the species' characteristic coloration beautifully: rich tan-brown upper coat, bold cream-white throat and chest banding, and the distinctive dark facial markings around the muzzle and cheeks. The horns are well-developed with the classic pronged forward tine and hooked tips, measuring approximately 12-14 inches in length, indicating a mature buck. Glass eyes are properly set and lifelike, the nose leather is intact and well-preserved, and the ears are in good position with natural interior detail visible. The hide work shows competent taxidermy craftsmanship with tight seams and natural muscle definition through the neck and shoulder area. Condition is rated Very Good overall; there is minor fur rubbing/thinning noted at the base of the left ear and a small area of discoloration near the right horn base, consistent with normal age and storage. The chest/shoulder base cut is clean and the mount stands freely on its own as a pedestal piece. No wall bracket or backing board is present. An ideal display piece for a hunting lodge, ranch home, cabin, or Western-themed interior throughout Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region.
