This lot comprises two matching framed collections of pencil sketch prints depicting historic Chesapeake Bay and Virginia lighthouses, presented together as a cohesive set. Each frame features five individual small-format pencil or graphite-style prints mounted on black matboard within silver-tone metal frames, totaling ten lighthouse illustrations across both pieces. Identifiable subjects include the Hooper Strait Lighthouse with a sailing schooner, Middle Ground Lighthouse Virginia, Smith Point Lighthouse Virginia, Wolf Trap Lighthouse Virginia, and Craighill Channel Rear Range Beacon — all iconic screwpile and caisson-style lighthouses of the Chesapeake Bay region dating from the mid-to-late 1800s. The prints appear to be high-quality reproductions or limited edition offset lithographs of original pencil drawings, rendered in fine detail capturing the architectural character of each structure along with surrounding water and sky. Each individual print measures approximately 4x5 inches and bears a handwritten-style caption identifying the subject; the artist's signature is visible on at least one print (Hooper Strait). The frames each measure approximately 11x15 inches overall and feature silver chrome-style metal molding with glass fronts and black mat backing, creating a cohesive nautical display set. Condition is Very Good overall; glass on both frames is intact with minor surface reflections and light dust, the prints themselves appear clean and free of foxing or yellowing, and the frames show minimal wear consistent with normal display use. An excellent pair for maritime art collectors, lighthouse enthusiasts, or Chesapeake Bay regional history lovers.
