This exceptional matched pair of tall trumpet-form champagne flutes features lavish gold encrusted decoration covering virtually the entire bowl and base in an intricate all-over floral lace pattern, consistent with the finest mid-20th century American and European luxury glassware traditions. Each flute is constructed of thin, high-quality clear crystal with a gracefully flared and lightly crimped rim at the top, transitioning into a long elegant trumpet-shaped bowl that narrows dramatically to a multi-knop baluster stem resting on a broad circular foot — all surfaces below the clear rim rim heavily gilded with the dense rose-and-floral lace motif. The gold encrustation technique, in which fired gold is applied in a resist-etched lace pattern leaving the underlying glass visible as the design negative, is characteristic of premium American manufacturers such as Lenox, Tiffin, or Libbey, as well as Bohemian/Czech glasshouses producing luxury barware from the 1940s through 1960s. Each flute stands approximately 10–11 inches tall with a base diameter of roughly 3 inches, making them impressive display or celebratory toasting pieces. The multi-knop stem and broad foot are fully gilded in solid bright gold, providing a striking contrast to the lace-patterned bowl above. Condition is Very Good overall; both flutes are structurally sound and free of cracks or chips to the bowls; minor wear and light rubbing to the gold encrustation is visible on the stems and bases consistent with age and handling, and one flute shows a small area of gold loss near the lower bowl — expected for pieces of this era. The clear crimped rims are intact on both examples with no chips detected.
