Olympia Werke AG, the renowned German typewriter manufacturer founded in 1903, produced a highly regarded line of electric portables throughout the 1960s and 1970s that were prized by professionals and home typists alike for their precision German engineering and reliable performance. This model features the classic two-tone gray and cream body construction typical of Olympia's electric portable line from the 1970s, with a full QWERTY keyboard featuring dark gray keycaps with white legends, a red accent X key, and function keys including Tab, Lock, Shift, Return, and Back. The type basket is fully intact with all typebars visible and a bi-color red and black ribbon installed. A power cord is present and stored with the machine inside the case. The Olympia nameplate badge is affixed to the front fascia along with a red indicator button on the right side.
