Description:

This lot features a collection of G&H (Greenhead) mallard duck decoys manufactured by G&H Decoys of Henrietta, Oklahoma, a highly respected American decoy manufacturer known for producing premium hunting decoys since the mid-20th century. The molded plastic/foam decoys display the classic mallard drake coloration with iridescent green heads, brown breast, gray body feathering, and black tail detailing, along with hen mallards in the natural tan and brown mottled pattern. Each decoy features the distinctive G&H keel weight system stamped 'G&H Decoys Henrietta, OK' on the black plastic ballast keels, which are rigged with yellow anchor cord lines ready for field use. The decoys exhibit highly detailed feather texturing molded into the body surface, a hallmark of G&H quality construction that sets them apart from budget decoys. Also visible in the lot are what appear to be additional decoys marked 'Blue Plastic Dallas' or similar, suggesting a mixed manufacturer lot. The entire collection is stored in a large canvas zippered decoy bag with black zipper and carry handles, a practical field-ready storage solution. Condition is Good to Very Good overall — decoys show honest field use including scuffs, paint wear on keels, minor paint loss to body surfaces, and general weathering consistent with active waterfowl hunting use; the canvas bag shows dirt staining and minor wear but remains fully functional with intact zipper. Exact count is difficult to determine from photos but appears to be approximately 10-14 decoys plus the bag. An excellent ready-to-hunt spread for Colorado waterfowl hunters targeting ducks on the South Platte, reservoirs, or Eastern Plains wetlands.
