Description:

This is a decorative carousel horse figurine crafted from resin, mounted on a brass-tone metal pole with a ball finial top and set into a cream-painted round wooden-style base. The prancing white horse is depicted in a classic galloping pose with front legs raised, featuring highly detailed hand-painted decoration including a black saddle with gold trim, a vibrant blue chest band with yellow scalloped fringe, red bridle with green medallion accents, and multi-colored rear blanket in red, blue, green, and gold. The round base is decorated with alternating red arch and yellow dot motifs around its perimeter, mimicking the platform of a traditional carnival carousel. This style of carousel horse collectible became popular in the 1980s–1990s as Americana and carnival nostalgia decor, appealing to collectors of merry-go-round memorabilia and folk art-inspired home decor. No visible maker's mark or brand stamp was identified in the photos, though the quality of the hand-painted detail and resin casting suggests a mid-range decorative manufacturer. Estimated dimensions are approximately 14 inches tall to the top of the brass ball and 12 inches wide base to tail. Condition is Very Good overall; the paint is vibrant with minor scuffing and light wear to the white body of the horse consistent with age and display use, no chips or cracks observed to the resin, and the brass pole shows light tarnish patina.
