Description:

This lot consists of three wall-mounted X-ray film illuminators/negatoscopes from medical and chiropractic office equipment. The primary unit is a Star X-Ray Co., Inc. Model PH05, manufactured in Amityville, New York, USA, bearing serial number 3106225 and rated at 110 volts, 0.35 amps, 60 cycle with UL listing number 74B3 as a certified X-Ray Accessory. It features a white powder-coated steel housing with a frosted translucent acrylic diffusion panel measuring approximately 14 x 17 inches—standard size for full-size radiographic film—and is equipped with a top film-retention bar in aluminum finish. The lot also includes two additional illuminators by Maxant (IL Series), providing versatility for multi-display setups or institutional use. Star X-Ray Co. was a well-regarded American manufacturer of diagnostic imaging accessories, and their wall-mount illuminators were standard equipment in chiropractic, medical, dental, and veterinary offices throughout the latter half of the 20th century. All three units power on and produce bright, even, uniform white light across their viewing surfaces with no dark spots or flickering observed. Overall condition is Very Good; housings show minor scuffs and light surface marks consistent with clinical use, diffusion panels are clean and free of cracks, film retention bars are intact, and all hardware is present. Practical, immediately usable pieces of medical office equipment ideal for chiropractors, radiologists, veterinarians, artists, or photographers in the Denver and Colorado Front Range area.

X-Ray Machine must be removed by licensed, certified professionals. Must follow the State of Colorado guidelines and possess the proper certifications and release forms. Please do not show up on your own to remove the machine.

The Frontage Sign must be removed by professionals and will require a lift and probably permits. Do your research before you bid.
