Lot # 84 - Original Color Drawing by Pueblo Colorado Artist Orlin Helgoe Signed and Titled "Wolf" Framed 29" x 32",  Not sure of the medium used, oil crayons? The title and signature are in a light color on the bottom right.  Hard to capture in a photo.  It says "wolf" and then "Helgoe 74".  Framed and matted, frame may show dings from storage.  Orlin Helgoe 1930 - 1982

Orlin Milton Helgoe's paintings and drawings stand the test of time: They are as mysterious and thought-provoking as they were the last time they were gathered for a major local show.

And probably as captivating as the day he painted or drew them in the 1960s and 1970s, when he taught art at Pueblo Junior College/Southern Colorado State College, roamed his beloved prairie, spiraled in and out of periods of intense creativity and productivity.
